With a heavy 42 inch it was no problem because the lever is small and the weight is very concentrated in the middle. With today's giant TVs, which often have the Vesa mount at the bottom, the lever is too high in my opinion.

Great price! Great product!! Perfect fit for my 55” Toshiba (30lbs). Bottom of TV stands approximately 35.5” (3’) off the ground. I checked my TV specs for VESA standard (200x200) prior to purchase as others stated it wasn’t compatible with their TVs. I had no issues following instructions setting up stand. A Phillips screw diver was the only in-house supply required other than the 6mm hex wrench provided. I was worried TV would not stand far off the ground as it has a pole height of approximately 48”. Fortunately the VESA mounting is on the lower half of the TV. The cable management is nice and easy to use. Overall, this was a great product for a great price!
